Kamaralle tänään 70 minuuttia peliaikaa liigacupissa Cowdenbeathia vastaan. Ottelu vielä hieman kesken, Dundee johtaa 0-3 toisen kesähankinnan, tunisialaisen Sofien Moussan hattutempulla. Seuraavana luvassa derby Unitedia vastaan sunnuntaina.
Just back from the game. A very good performance, a very good three points.
Not one player had an off day from the starting line up. O'Hara started shaky but grew into the game. Moussa was doing well at holding up, laying off but what impressed me most was his peeling runs, changing direction and making space for himself to receive and play the ball. Allan oozes class. McGowan doing Brazilian flicks and some delightful through balls. Kamara is the epitome of what we should be looking to get though. This guy absolutely strolls games, effortless. Genuine Kevin Thomson level player. I'll be very, very surprised if he is still here at the end of the summer transfer window next year.
Not sure I'd be sending Waddell out on loan, looks comfortable.
Special mentions to a few absolute diddies around me complaining when the team are keeping the ball to "get it up the park!" .. then complain when the long punt isn't inch perfect. Whoppers.
What I learned tonight
Defence wasn't troubled tbh. Waddell did everything he had to do though and won nearly every ball in the air. I'm warming to him but need to see him under pressure.
Kamara strolled it again as has been said. Tidy as fuck.
O'Hara is looking more and more comfortable in that DM position.
Allan and McGowan are on the same wavelength.
Moussa is a definite find and looks quality.
I am impressed about calm Kamara is for a young player- exudes confidence and looks to be a great signing so far . Allan is a class act and good that Gowser is forming a good rapport with him . Still think that we need another quality striker . Compared to this time last year we look a much better prospect .Pressure cooker test on Sunday- c'mon the Dee !
Midfield were good tonight, created chances and retained the ball well. Kamara won't be here for long imo. Gowser was better tonight but I still think he has more in him. O'Hara seems to go under the radar but does his job well. Allans vision, weight of pass and deliveries are of a really high standard. Also showed glimpses of being physically tough too, something I didn't think he had. Deacon, for me is a little off fitness but done well and his deliveries are good. Some of his build up play / decision making was a wee bit off but nothing major.
Kamara was superb. He always seems to have room and time. He's always open to receive the ball and he drives play forward with good passing and positive play. Vincent never did anything wrong when he came on, but the impetus changed completely from a probing team looking to add to their tally, to a team playing in their own half under no pressure but with very little end product. Kamara links the defence and the attack, Vincent plays almost as part of the defence.
Parista pidemmästä viestistä otettu vain Kamaraa/keskikenttää koskevat osuudet.
