The Federal Security Service of Russia has prepared a draft presidential decree on ensuring the safety of matches of the UEFA European Football Championship 2020, which will be held in St. Petersburg.
Increased security measures are proposed to be introduced from June 3 to July 13, 2020 in the territories of St. Petersburg and the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region.
In accordance with the document, the governments of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region will have to determine the territories on which it will be forbidden to sell and consume alcohol in glass containers.
