We live in a different time, so we are all a little different. Lately, we have been going through periods that were unknown to us. Each person in a certain group develops in their own way, but with some touch of that group. For sure, these guys are different than they were 12, 13 years ago. All in all, I don't like to compare my coaching periods. You also have to develop yourself and try to get closer to the group you lead.
The position of selector always carries a certain amount of pressure. Expectations are high because we haven't been anywhere for a long time. I repeat, first and foremost it is a privilege, pleasure and honor for me. It's a challenge for me to win every game and be better than someone who won't admit it. It drives me forward. I want to win every training session, so I said I'm happy if we have a successful training session. When that's the case, I feel like I've won. I have a fantastic team around me, and this may even be the strongest asset of this national team. And that's how I feel about behaving myself. "One man band" doesn't work anymore, it doesn't work anymore. The more positive energy spreads from one to the other, the easier everything is. We have to draw energy from this positive story, it took a long time to create it, so that in the end we don't succumb to pressure...
