Eihän tässä ole mitään hätää saksalaisten kanssa. HJK oppi jo kerrasta, miten heitä vastaan tulee kotona pelata. Oppirahat maksettiin jo 1975, kun Hertha Berlin voitti Olympiastadionilla niukasti HJK:n 1-2.

Kymmenen vuotta myöhemmin istuin Olympiastadionilla ja katsoin Dynamo Dresdenin menoa HJK:ta vastaan. Vierähtää 12 vuotta ja istun taas Olympiastadionilla, mutta en suinkaan yksin. Yleisömäärä FC Kaiserslauternia vastaan oli yli 20 000 (21 217). Otto Rehhagelilla olisi ollut laitaa kentälle uransa aikana lähes 100 maaottelua pelanneen Michael Ballackin, mutta sitä hän ei koskaan tehnyt. Muurinen puolestaan laittoi kentälle Riihilahden, Lehkosuon, Kanervan, Wissin, Vasaran, Erkka V. Lehtolan ja Tihisen – näin muutaman tutun nimen mainitakseni. Erkka V. Lehtola varmaan muistaa vieläkin tilanteen, jossa hänelle tarjottiin sankarin viittaa hartioille, mutta veto avopaikasta meni valitettavasti yli maalin. Maalivahti Andreas Reinke oli lopulta se mies, joka esti HJK:n voiton parilla upealla torjunnalla. Lopputulos oli 0-0.

Vuosi 1998 oli viimeistä vuosikertaa, kun istuin otteluissa. Nyt hypätään 2000 luvulle ja taas saadaan saksalaisia kylään. Olympiastadion on jäänyt sivuun ja nyt olemme siirtyneet Finnair Stadiumille ja minä olen noussut jaloilleni. Benedikt Höwedes voitti urallaan maailmanmestaruuden, muttei HJK:ta Helsingissä. Teemu Pukin maalit FC Schalke 04:n verkkoon elää vieläkin mielessäni. HJK – FC Schalke 2-0.

Kuten huomataan, niin vuoden -75 jälkeen saksalaiset eivät ole Helsingissä tehneet maaliakaan HJK:n verkkoon. Pidetään tästä kiinni ja otetaan vähintään se tasapeli.
