The first FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup will be played in 2025 in the Philippines, and European qualifying begins with October's main round, drawn at 14:15 CET on Thursday 30 May and streamed live.
European qualifying runs in two stages, played as one-venue mini-tournaments: main round and elite round. In the main round, the 23 teams (all entrants apart from top seeds Portugal and Spain) are drawn into five groups of four and one of three.
Draw procedure
The 23 teams are split into four seeding positions based on their Women's Futsal National Team Coefficient ranking:
Position 1: Teams ranked 3 to 8
Position 2: Teams ranked 9 to 14
Position 3: Teams ranked 15 to 20
Position 4: Teams ranked 21 to 25
Five teams (Sweden, Czechia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Moldova) have been pre-selected as hosts and will be drawn into Groups 1 to 4. Groups 5 and 6 will not have a host assigned, with the home team in those sections to be determined after the draw.
Pot 1 (hosts)
Sweden (seeding position 1)
Czechia (seeding position 2)
Bosnia and Herzegovina (position 3)
Serbia (seeding position 3)
Moldova (seeding position 3)
The hosts are drawn into Groups 1 to 5 and placed in the position corresponding to their coefficient ranking. Group 6 will not have a host assigned and one will be determined after the draw from among the teams.
Pot 2 (seeding position 4)
Lithuania
France
Latvia
England
Norway
The five teams are drawn into position 4 from Groups 1 to 5.
Pot 3 (seeding position 3)
Slovakia
Kazakhstan
Northern Ireland
The three teams are drawn into position 3 from Groups 1 to 6, missing out the groups which already have a host (Serbia, Moldova or Bosnia and Herzegovina) assigned to that position.
Pot 4 (seeding position 2)
Croatia
Netherlands
Belarus
Belgium
Slovenia
The five teams are drawn into position 2 from Groups 1 to 6, missing out the group which already has a host (Czechia) assigned to that position.
Pot 5 (seeding position 1)
Ukraine
Hungary
Italy
Finland
Poland
