Juho Makela will depart Hearts for a loan spell at FC Thun later this week, but he is determined to show his goalscoring prowess beforehand.
The 23-year-old is moving to Switzerland on loan until the end of the season in search of regular first-team football.
Makela joined Hearts over a year ago but has found opportunities under Valdas Ivanauskas hard to come by.
Before he jets off to join Thun, the striker will feature for Finland against Scotland B on Wednesday, keen to prove he can still have a future at Tynecastle.
"I've had a tough season at Hearts because I haven't played regularly," Makela told the Daily Record.
"I scored a hat-trick against Alloa in the League Cup and also scored on my only other start this season against Dundee United.
"I need some regular first-team football and that is why I am going on loan.
"I will be in Switzerland for four months and I don't know what will happen after that. But for now I am only concentrating on playing.
"I will play against Scotland and my dream is to score then fly out to Switzerland and keep scoring."
