Total Football in Association with Arsenal Soccer Schools, is launching its first Soccer Camps in Finland this Summer. The week long courses are aimed at 8-16 year olds and is open to both boys and girls. They will be held in the Espoo district near Helsinki at two separate locations; 30th July - 3rd August Matinkylä and Leppävara 6th August - 10th August 2007
The Soccer Camps aim to focus on the development of football skills and technique. Coaching will be conducted in both English and Finnish, and there will be fun games, quizzes and exercises which aim to develop each child's English language skills.
Micky Warner is the Head Coach and will be running the courses in Finland. He is an ex-professional player in England and UEFA B Qualified Coach. He has played for Northampton Town, Stevenage Borough and Farnborough Town
The courses are run from 1000 - 1500 and children should arrive no earlier than 0900. The cost of the course is 99€ for the week.
All participants receive a certificate of attendance and an Arsenal Soccer Schools gift when they have completed the course.
Children need to bring with them a football kit or tracksuit, shin pads, training shoes for astro turf, and a pack lunch and drink.
