Larrieu was not given much work to do, but his opposite number was kept busy. Former Arsenal 'keeper Howard made fine saves from Cherno Samba, twice, and Finnish trialist Janne Turpeenniemi. The 17-year-old midfielder was given a run out on the right flank for the last 25 minutes. He comes from Rovaniemen Palloseura, a club in northern Finland, and was recommended to the Pilgrims by a contact of first-team coach Des Bulpin.
