Tästäkin varmaan tulossa? :D

Tunteellinen esitys, hieno mies jne.

Keskiviikkona sitten edessa Aasian mestareiden liigaa, vastustaja tulee Kiinasta. Todellinen herkkupala on edessa 14 paiva, Osakan derby Cerezo vs Gamba.

E. Korjataan tummennettua sen verran, etta Gamba perustettiin 80-luvun alussa. Logossa lukeva teksti since 1991 harhautti.

Stadium tests crowd-sourced power generation during soccer game

Home's Stadium Kobe installed 1.6-square-meter pads under 12 seats, which harness vibrations from cheering fans to produce electric power. Although power output was low at just 8,400 watt seconds, the stadium plans to install the panels in stadium stores and other areas.

"Loud cheering doesn't just build up atmosphere for the match, it's environmentally friendly, too," said one supporter.

Uutinen
KASHIMA ANTLERS

Last season: champion

Having broken new ground last season with an unprecedented third straight title, Kashima heads into the new campaign as the obvious favorite to claim a fourth.
Manager Oswaldo Oliveira has given his squad its annual nip and tuck with the departure of several squad players, and it says much about Antlers' quality control that left-back Park Joo Ho has been declared surplus to requirements despite a decent first season.
Brazilian Gilton will be the man to replace him, while the impressive Lee Jung Soo arrives from Kyoto Sanga.

But the new faces are merely a supplement to the most established, battle-hardened squad in the league, and it will again be the likes of player of the year Mitsuo Ogasawara, Daiki Iwamasa and Takuya Nozawa who lead the charge.

If Kashima seems destined for more glory, however, one cloud remains. The team's run of five defeats last year was too serious to be dismissed as just a blip, and it will at the very least have given rivals proof the champions are not infallible.

Whether they can take advantage is another matter. Kashima's biggest strength has been its iron resolve, and the way Oliveira's side hunted down Kawasaki Frontale at the business end of last season was typically ruthless.

"Never write off Antlers" was the message from that episode, and it is one that is not likely to change this season.

KAWASAKI FRONTALE

Last season: second

After suffering so much heartbreak last year, Frontale must be starting to think their first piece of major silverware is never coming.
Manager Takashi Sekizuka was certainly despondent enough to fall on his sword after missing out on the league title on the final day, but he may have been a little hasty considering the players at his disposal and the superb performances they gave over the course of the campaign.

Fortunately Sekizuka's replacement, Tsutomu Takahata, should slip straight into the groove having filled in during his predecessor's illness-enforced absence in 2008, when he proved his commitment to the fast attacking style Frontale know so well.

New signing Junichi Inamoto should provide more stability to play that way, and the club will also hope the veteran's experience can help his teammates overcome the psychological barrier that has prevented them from making the breakthrough.
Takanobu Komiyama is another excellent addition, and he joins a group of players whose quality is not in question. Their ability to start a season strongly, win ugly and get the job done when the pressure is on, however, is.

If Frontale can do all these things, then maybe, just maybe, this could be their year.

GAMBA OSAKA

Last season: third

Gamba manager Akira Nishino acknowledged his team wasn't ready for the season ahead after last year's 3-0 Xerox Super Cup loss to Kashima Antlers, and he was proven right by hot-and-cold performances over the first half of the campaign.

That Gamba managed to haul themselves into the title race after that suggests their problems are now over, and the Emperor's Cup final thrashing of Nagoya Grampus offered a further riposte to those who thought the 2008 Asian Champions League-winning team had become a spent force.
Nishino has resisted the temptation to tinker with a successful formula, with Ze Carlos and Dodo the only arrivals of any real note, taking the club's quota of Brazilian strikers to four.

But Gamba's midfield is where the team's reputation has been forged, and the quartet of Yasuhito Endo, Hideo Hashimoto, Takahiro Futagawa and Tomokazu Myojin is showing few signs of slowing down.
Gamba's familiar look does, however, have its downside. Central defender Sota Nakazawa and goalkeeper Yosuke Fujigaya have appeared shaky for some time, and Nishino is not really blessed with alternatives.

Then again, frailty at the back hasn't stopped Gamba from winning trophies by the bucket load in recent years.
Who's to say they won't win more this season?

SANFRECCE HIROSHIMA

Last season: fourth

Few saw Sanfrecce's fourth-place finish coming last season, not least because it arrived on the back of promotion from the second division.
Mihailo Petrovic's side came up with all guns blazing and a fast, fluid style that was too much for many established J1 teams to handle, ably spearheaded by striker Hisato Sato and anchored by the imperious Ilian Stoyanov.
The Bulgarian's positional nous allowed fellow defender Tomoaki Makino to rampage forward and plunder eight goals, while Croatian Mihael Mikic had few problems adapting in his first J. League season.

The question now is whether Sanfrecce's attack can maintain its swashbuckling panache in the wake of playmaker Yosuke Kashiwagi's departure to Urawa Reds.
Masato Yamazaki and Satoru Yamagishi look like useful squad additions, but neither can come close to matching Kashiwagi's creative impudence.
The strains of competing in the Asian Champions League will also present problems, and the specter of last season's 7-0 drubbing at the hands of Kawasaki Frontale may also haunt the team if the going starts to get tough.

New goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa should help avoid such aberrations, but Sanfrecce will still find it hard to match last season's achievements.

FC TOKYO

Last season: fifth

After finishing fifth in the league and ending a five-year trophy drought by winning the Nabisco Cup, expectations surrounding FC Tokyo are sky-high heading into the new season. Given the strides the capital city club has made, it is easy to see why.

No other J. League squad contains as many improved individuals as the one at Hiroshi Jofuku's disposal. Naohiro Ishikawa was the big revelation last season, but previous underachievers Sota Hirayama and Yuhei Tokunaga upped their game so far they ended up in Takeshi Okada's national team.

A brilliant rookie season from Takuji Yonemoto added weight to the notion that Tokyo's time is coming, and Masato Morishige's arrival from Oita Trinita further strengthens a squad that looked a little on the thin side last year.

But whether it has filled out enough to challenge for the title is another matter. The Nabisco Cup has offered a glimpse of success, but Tokyo's rivals have winning experience that Jofuku's side can only dream about.

In truth, the title might be a step too far. Further trophies are not out of the question, though, and neither is a place in next year's Asian Champions League.

URAWA RED DIAMONDS

Last season: sixth

Last season was supposed to be the year that Reds finally left all the drama behind and got back to winning ways, but the club's appalling seven-game midseason losing run showed how deeply entrenched the problems had become.
Now that inspirational defender and chief agitator Marcus Tulio Tanaka has left for Nagoya Grampus, however, manager Volker Finke has scored a significant victory against player power.

Tulio's leadership, courage and ability will be sorely missed, but a new, lower-key Urawa is emerging.
Australian defender Matthew Spiranovic and Burkina Faso wide man Willy Sanou's arrival from Germany is evidence that Finke is beginning to stamp his identity on the club, while Yosuke Kashiwagi's move from Sanfrecce Hiroshima further shifts the emphasis toward youth.

A spectacular debut season from Genki Haraguchi and Naoki Yamada has helped Finke's vision along, but there are still plenty of egos to be satisfied. How the manager handles out-of-favor veterans such as Robson Ponte and Naohiro Takahara could be crucial.

A passing of the Urawa baton is definitely taking place, though, and the year ahead should be the transition period that was supposed to happen last season. A squad with so much talent can never be ruled out of the title race, but an Asian Champions League place would be more in line with Reds' new modest approach.

SHIMIZU S-PULSE

Last season: seventh

S-Pulse have been threatening to put together a title challenge for some time, but when they finally managed to climb to the top of the league in October last season — for the first time in a decade — the wheels came off in spectacular fashion.
Kenta Hasegawa's side proceeded to take one point from its next six games, a shocking run that not only cost Shimizu the title but a place in the Asian Champions League as well.

The team clearly lacked enough experienced heads, and the signings of one-time golden boy Shinji Ono from Bochum and Australian defender Eddy Bosnar from JEF United Chiba should go some way toward addressing the issue.

Ono will never be the player he once was but nonetheless adds creativity to a midfield that could do with a sprinkling of stardust, while Bosnar is a reliable enough performer at the back.

With players such as Shinji Okazaki, Frode Johnsen, Takuya Edamura and Keisuke Iwashita already on board, S-Pulse can again harbor realistic ambitions of winning a first-ever championship.

If they lose their nerve when the heat is on, however, they can forget it.

ALBIREX NIIGATA

Last season: eighth

What was shaping up to be a great season for Niigata fizzled out spectacularly when it came to the crunch last year, and it is difficult to see the Tohoku side finding that spark again when the new campaign gets under way.
Albirex were on the fringes of the title race for a long time before dropping off the pace, but with manager Jun Suzuki gone and a host of key players leaving over the winter, the omens do not look good.

Defenders Mitsuru Chiyotanda and Gilton will be sorely missed after moving to Nagoya Grampus and Kashima Antlers, respectively, while incoming midfielders Michael and Yoshiyuki Kobayashi look short of the pedigree required to get things back on track.
The upheaval is all the more frustrating given that Albirex seemed finally on their way toward realizing their potential last year.

Marcio Richardes and Isao Homma were as good as any midfielders in the league, while even much-maligned striker Kisho Yano managed a personal-best eight goals.
If the team leaders can stand up and be counted the season may not be a complete write-off, and new manager Hisashi Kurosaki will be hoping for a good start to clear away the doubts.

If that doesn't happen, Albirex could have a real fight on their hands.

NAGOYA GRAMPUS

Last season: ninth

Nagoya's ninth-place finish was about right for a team that has to be considered a work in progress, but such a lowly achievement will not be tolerated this time around. Make no mistake — after bringing in a succession of big names over the past six months, Grampus are gunning for the title.

Nothing symbolizes Nagoya's ambition more than the signing of defender Marcus Tulio Tanaka from Urawa Reds. The national team stalwart has been arguably the league's best player over the past four years, and will bring experience, knowhow and a keen eye for goal to a Grampus side that has been seeking such leadership for quite some time.

Highly rated young attacking midfielder Mu Kanazaki is the other eye-catching signing, but manager Dragan Stojkovic has made sure there is plenty of substance as well as style with low-key additions Mitsuru Chiyotanda and Danilson Cordoba.
Will it be enough to transform Grampus into genuine championship contenders?

Until an unfamiliar team takes its first steps together, it is impossible to say.
If it all clicks, it could be beautiful. But if it doesn't, things could get very ugly.

YOKOHAMA F. MARINOS

Last season: 10th

After years of anonymity, the buzz generated by Shunsuke Nakamura's arrival makes it easy to understand why Marinos were so desperate to sign him. But now that the prodigal son has returned, how much of a difference can he be expected to make on the pitch?

Nakamura will certainly add a much-needed dollop of creativity to a team overloaded with defensive midfielders, and striker Kazuma Watanabe should feast on the improved service after hitting 13 goals in his debut season.
Koji Yamase might also benefit with someone to share the midfield burden, and new Argentine striker Pablo Bastianini — once of Yeovil Town in England's third tier — could be a joker in the pack.

But one look at Marinos' recent campaigns should be enough to nip dreams of a return to the glory days in the bud. Yokohama has played lumpen, uninspired soccer for several years now, and the lack of internationals on the club's books tells its own story.

Marinos might well have gone down last year had Watanabe not emerged as a savior, and the arrival of a 31-year-old who failed to cut it in Spain is hardly likely to transform Marinos into contenders overnight.

JUBILO IWATA

Last season: 11th

Jubilo looked headed for real trouble after starting last season with two heavy defeats, but the former champion turned things around with such aplomb that relegation was never an issue moving into the final straight.

That was due in no small measure to South Korean striker Lee Keun Ho, who ripped through the J. League like a hurricane after arriving early in the season, then left for a bizarre non-transfer to Paris St. Germain before coming back in the summer.

One man happy to see him return was Ryoichi Maeda, whose prolific partnership with the Korean allowed him to become the league's first Japanese top scorer since 2002 with 20 goals. That was still not enough to convince national team manager Takeshi Okada of Maeda's talents, however, and the 28-year-old will have an extra point to prove with places in Japan's World Cup squad still up for grabs.

But if Jubilo has no trouble scoring goals, a league-worst 60 conceded shows exactly where the team's problem lies. If new South Korean defensive additions Park Joo Ho and Lee Gang Jin can come anywhere near matching their striking countryman's impact, there is no reason why Jubilo's revival should not extend into the top half of the table.

KYOTO SANGA

Last season: 12th

Sanga could have expected better than last season's 12th-place finish, so it is little surprise that they were one of the busiest operators in the winter transfer market. Whether the squad is stronger as a result, however, looks dubious.

More players have come in than gone out, but the list of departures contains some heavy hitters.
South Korean center-back Lee Jung Soo has left for champions Kashima Antlers after one productive season, although he may not be so badly missed if countryman Kwak Tae Hwi can fill his boots.

More keenly felt will be the loss of veteran Sidiclei, who has been released, and midfield partner Yuto Sato, who has returned to JEF United Chiba.
Incoming Brazilians Dutra and Thiego are unknown quantities, and manager Hisashi Kato will have his work cut out building a coherent team after all the comings and goings.

Fortunately some good players remain, including steady defender Hiroki Mizumoto, Brazilian attacker Diego and striker Atsushi Yanagisawa. A heavy responsibility will rest on their shoulders, however, especially after the dismal late form that almost sucked the team down last season.

OMIYA ARDIJA

Last season: 13th

Omiya should have had first-division survival in the bag long before the penultimate weekend last season, but nerves combined with Kashiwa Reysol's last stand to ensure a sixth straight season in the top flight did not come easy.

Ardija certainly looked to have the quality to wrap things up earlier. The richly deserved 3-1 home win over eventual champion Kashima Antlers will live long in the memory, but it was not the only time Chang Woe Ryong's side showed an aptitude for attractive attacking soccer.

Croatian colossus Mato Neretljak turned out to be arguably the best buy of any team during last year's offseason, and Omiya has done well to retain his services.
Brazilian striker Raffael also chipped in with important goals after arriving in the summer, but it remains to be seen how long the club can continue to turn up gems in the transfer market.

This winter's intake, led by North Korean An Yong Hak and former Kawasaki Frontale man Kazuhiro Murakami, looks decent enough for Ardija to beat the drop again, and quite conceivably earlier than they did last season.

VISSEL KOBE

Last season: 14th

Vissel's late form last year was so awful that about the only thing that saved them from relegation was the fact that the end of the season meant there were no more games to lose.

A decent start to the campaign put enough points in the bank to survive, but Kobe's offseason transfer business has done little to suggest a change is around the corner.

South Korean midfielder Kim Nam Il heads an extensive list of departures, with Brazilians Edmilson and Popo the highest-profile new faces. Decent though both players are, it is worth noting that they are also the wrong side of 30 and arriving fresh from relegation with their previous clubs.

An injection of youth in an otherwise craggy team might have been wiser, and it will again be left to Yoshito Okubo to shoulder the burden. The striker's abortive stint at Wolfsburg was Vissel's gain, but manager Toshiya Miura must make sure his star man maintains his cutting edge among teammates that cannot match his talents.

The current Vissel side does not look like its legs can hold out for much longer, and an extensive overhaul will be needed eventually.

MONTEDIO YAMAGATA

Last season: 15th

Montedio started brightly then faded horribly down the stretch after promotion last year, and would almost certainly have gone straight back down had it not been for striker Yu Hasegawa.

The 22-year-old scored 10 goals and carried the entire team on his broad shoulders for most of the campaign, so it bodes well that reinforcements have now arrived.
Hasegawa will be joined in attack by Yuzo Tashiro, who has been lured from Kashima Antlers in what looks like a great piece of business for Yamagata. Tashiro never fully established himself in the champions' first-choice lineup, but nonetheless played a big part in their three-in-a-row title triumph and will be hoping to emulate former teammate Atsushi Yanagisawa in proving there is life after Kashima.

The same goes for fellow Antlers alumni Chikashi Masuda, who will be joined by former JEF United Chiba captain Tomi Shimomura in a marked improvement on last year's midfield.

But that is not to say the new faces guarantee Yamagata survival. Last season's escape owed a heavy debt to the shortcomings of others, and the teams coming up this year look better than those they are replacing.

VEGALTA SENDAI

Last season: J2 champion

Sendai's promotion was no surprise after coming close in recent years, and last season's run to the Emperor's Cup semifinals was further proof of Makoto Teguramori's side's potential.

Vegalta scalped three first-division teams before Gamba denied them a place in the final, and those beaten opponents are hardly likely to be looking forward to visiting Yurtec Stadium in the league as well.

At the heart of Vegalta's fluid attacking style is North Korean midfielder Ryang Yong Gi, who will be keen to show what he can do after staying put at Sendai despite offers from bigger clubs in the past. New arrivals have been low-key, but Teguramori seems justified in placing his trust in a group of players who have served him well so far.

With plenty of goals scored and few conceded last season, Vegalta are in as good shape as can be heading into the new campaign. That doesn't make survival a given, however, and if the first-division sides who struggled last year can buck up their ideas, Sendai will have to work hard to avoid being left behind.

CEREZO OSAKA

Last season: second in J2

After watching Sanfrecce Hiroshima go from promotion to fourth in the first division last season, Cerezo will be dreaming of making a similar impact this time round.
With young internationals Shinji Kagawa and Takashi Inui on the books, the Osaka side will certainly not want for attention. The pair breezed through J2 last season, notching 47 goals between them, and both should be more than good enough to thrive at the top level.

Cerezo scored 100 goals last season, and their strike force has been further bolstered by the arrival of Ryuji Bando and Akihiro Ienaga from city rival Gamba.
Bando should be a good addition as long as he is not asked to bear the bulk of the scoring load, while Ienaga will be looking for something to get his teeth into after a frustrating two-year loan at Oita Trinita.

Teruyuki Moniwa also joins from FC Tokyo to help shore up a defense that was a shade on the generous side, but although Cerezo finished second in J2 they look like the strongest of this year's promoted sides.

SHONAN BELLMARE

Last season: third in J2

As the last team to clinch promotion last season, Shonan starts the new campaign as the automatic favorite to go back down first.

Bellmare pipped Ventforet Kofu for the third and final spot by a single point, and should really have wrapped things up long before the final day after maneuvering themselves into a good position earlier in the season.

Yasuharu Sorimachi's side will certainly have to step up a level to stand any chance of surviving, but the waters have been clouded by 11 players leaving and 11 arriving over the offseason.

Among those incoming are Tatsunori Arai from JEF United Chiba and Kenji Baba from Vissel Kobe, but it will be stalwarts such as Yoshito Terakawa and Yuzo Tamura who continue to form the backbone of the side.

Itse kavin reilu viikko sitten Tokiossa katsomassa Fuji Xerox Supercupin matsin Kashima Antlers-Gamba Osaka, jonka Kashima voitti rankkareilla (varsinainen peliaika paattyi 1-1).

Huomattuaan etta me ei ymmarretty mitaan, han  toisti asiansa kovemmalla aanella. Vaikka ottelun taso ei juuri tehnyt vaikutusta, (oli valilla aikamoista hontsailya, lieneeko sitten johtunut siita ettei ollu sarjapeli tms.) kokemuksena silti oikein mukava matsi varsinkin kun tahan asti olen kierrellyt matseissa vain Euroopassa. Hieman harmitti etta Gamba ei voittanut mutta stadionilta astelin pois Gamban pelipaitaan verhoutuneena, yhta kokemusta rikkaampana.

Juuri kautensa Japanin jalkapalloliigassa aloittanut Urawa Reds on joutunut keskittymään pelillisten asioiden sijasta taisteluun kenttää sotkevia ankkoja vastaan.

- Ankat ilmeisesti tuntevat olonsa turvalliseksi aitojen sisäpuolella, seuran tiedottaja Daisuke Maruyama arvelee.

Saksalaismediassa on siirtosummaksi mainittu 350 000 euroa, jonka perusteella on mitä ilmeisimmin syytä odottaa onnistunutta ryöstöä Keltamustilta. Ainakin pojankoltiaiseen on kohdistettu yllättävän paljon suitsutusta Saksassakin.

 1 Shimizu S-Pulse  25 12 7 4 1 23 12 +11

Tähdillä merkityillä joukkueilla on yksi ottelu vähemmän pelattuna.

8 KENNEDY Nagoya Grampus
7 RENATINHO Kawasaki Frontale
7 Kazuma WATANABE Yokohama F・Marinos
7 Ryoichi MAEDA Jubilo Iwata
7 Shoki HIRAI Gamba Osaka
7 Shinji KAGAWA Cerezo Osaka

Kagawahan myytiin pois. Se voi olla kova isku Cerezon säilymishaaveille. Kenties he pyytävät lainaan jonkun Dortumndin reservikärjistä?

Sieniliigaahan on (ainakin tähän asti) pelattu alueellisesti. Kummastakin suunnasta on mukana enää neljä joukkuetta puolivälierävaiheessa. He jättivät japanilaiset, kiinalaiset ja aussit tylysti lehdellä soittelemaan. Viime kauden mestari Pohang Steelers on heidän joukossaan, päättäen Kashiman unelman jatkopeleissä.

Ehkäpä sitten ensi kaudella tulee koettua ekan kerran J-leaguen huuma.
