France World Cup midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo is keen on a move to Rangers, according to his agent.

The 32-year-old Paris Saint Germain man initially had contact from Light Blues boss Paul Le Guen before the World Cup, and has been tempted by the lure of Ibrox.

But his agent Alain Migliaccio believes the Scottish giants will have to move fast if they are to secure the player's signature.

"I spoke with Paul two months ago and he said he was interested in signing Vikash," Migliaccio told The Scottish Sun.

"He hasn't called me since and I don't know if he is going to call. But I know that Vikash wants to sign for Rangers.

"But if Rangers want to sign him then they will have to do it quickly as the season in France starts in three weeks and if PSG let Vikash go, then they will have to find a replacement.

"As soon as Paul Le Guen phones me, then I will be straight on the phone to PSG to see if they will let him go."

The Parc des Princes man is currently in Germany at the World Cup and will be anxious to showcase his talents if he gets a chance in the last eight match against holders Brazil on Saturday.

Le Guen haluaisi Jeremy Clementin riveihinsä ennen Etelä-Afrikan leiritykseen lähtöä. Lyonilla ja Rangersilla on muutaman sadan tuhannen erimielisyys siitä, kuinka paljon viimeistä sopimusvuottaan lusivasta pelaajasta tulisi maksaa. Lisäksi Le Guen odottaa jonkinlaista vastausta Johan Elmanderin suunnasta. Myös Dortmundin kerrotaan olevan ruotsalaisen kannoilla.

Southampton bid for Hearts pair

Hearts are in negotiations with Southampton over the possible transfer of Andy Webster and Rudi Skacel.

The Tynecastle club's owner Vladimir Romanov told BBC Scotland that discussions were taking place, but no agreement had been reached.

Skacel has been a long-term target for the English side, now managed by the former Hearts boss George Burley.

Skacel has declared his desire to play in England, while Webster has handed his notice in at the club.

Hearts deal for Hwan

South Korea superstar Ahn Jung-Hwan’s move to Scottish club Hearts appears to be back on. The former Perugia player, who was famously sacked from the club after scoring the golden goal which eliminated Italy from the 2002 World Cup, has been linked with the SPL outfit for sometime. Hasselbainkin reisillä tais olla kohtuuton palkkavaatimus ja hyvä niin.

Celtic otti kuokkaan Legialta Puolassa pari päivää sitten. Bhoys pelasi nuorella kokoonpanolla ja kokeili uusia kasvoja syksyä varten. Peli päättyi 1-0.

Rangers are hoping to sign Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner

New Gers boss Paul Le Guen has revealed he has talked with Arsene Wenger about the 18-year-old.
The Dane is highly-rated at Arsenal and he made three appearances in the first team last season - all in the Carling Cup.
Le Guen is keen to bolster his squad and is hoping Wenger will let the youngster move to Glasgow.
"Yes, this is a name (Bendtner) I know. I called Arsene Wenger one month ago, but that is all at the moment," said Le Guen.
Le Guen also remains hopeful of finally sealing a deal for Lyon midfielder Jeremy Clement.
Rangers have held talks with the player after agreeing a fee with Lyon earlier this week.
"Perhaps this will happen tomorrow. I am hopeful for Clement," concluded Le Guen.

JEREMY CLEMENT knew the second he got on the plane back to France on Wednesday that he'd be buying a return ticket to Glasgow to sign for Rangers.

Clement will arrive back in Scotland this morning to agree a three-year deal with Gers after admitting he was blown away by the facilities at Ibrox and Murray Park during a whistle-stop tour of Glasgow on Tuesday. And while he was sent home by manager Paul Le Guen to mull over the £1.1million switch from Lyon - with PSG, Troyes and St Etienne waiting in the wings - Clement insists there was only ever one choice.

Clement, who will fly out with Rangers on their pre-season tour of South Africa tomorrow, said: "I've made my mind up that I want to come to Scotland to further my career under Paul Le Guen.

"I'll be in Scotland on Friday to sign my contract and start a new and exciting chapter in my life. I really can't wait to be part of Rangers and to experience the thrill of playing in front of their fans.

"They gave me a tour of the stadium, the training ground and Glasgow and I was blown away by it all. If I didn't know how big a club Rangers were before, I do now.

"I was told by Paul Le Guen to go back to France to relax and think things over for a few days but I didn't need that time.My mind was made upby the time I'd left Scotland.

"Everything about it felt right. The manager is someone I know well and trust, as is Yves Colleu.

"I'd never been to Scotland before but guys such as Jean Alain Boumsong told me I'd love the people and they were all right.

Rangers are securing one of the most sought-after and highly-rated young midfielders in France. Capped five times at Under-21, there is little doubt Clement has the ability to further his career at club and international level.

Lyon were desperate to hang on to the player as a back-up to their talent-packed midfield and he could well have stuck around in the hope he could add to his six Champions League appearancesfrom last year.

But the chance to play regularly at Ibrox and add to his medal haul proved too strong.

Clement added: "The chance to come to Rangers came as a major surprise. It was never something I'd never thought about before.

"It grabbed my attention straight away because I know Paul Le Guen very well as a coach from his time with Lyon and that opened the door for me to go to Scotland.

"If there had been another boss at Rangers, who knows whether I'd have gone or not? Probably I'd still be very excited because they are one of the big clubs in Europe.

"I'm ambitious and I want to win things next season.I want to try to win the title back from Celtic, to win a cup and go as far as I can in the UEFA Cup. I want to grow and develop as a player because at 21 I am still learning the game. Scotland can help progress my football.

"Hopefully this will also help my international career. I'm not dreaming of walking straight into the France side after a few games - how could I? They are in the World Cup Final.

"But I'm in their system and they knowme fromthe Under-21s. Hopefully I can play regularly for Rangers and continue to pick up caps for the Under-21s and then make the step up.

Stevie Crawford opened the scoring for the Scottish Premier League team in the 24th minute and Gary Dempsey doubled the advantage four minutes later.

Zander Diamond's own goal helped Peterhead reduce the deficit in the 34th minute.

Tänään Rangers käänsi kokan kohti Etelä-Afrikkaa aloittaakseen siellä leirityksen. Gers pelaa ainakin pari matsia paikallisia vastaan reissun aikana, eli ens perjantaina (Jomo Cosmos) ja sunnuntaina (Mamelodi Sundowns). Le Guen halusi myös uuet kaverit mukaan, vaikka Kalle Svenssonin ja Libor Sionkon kesälomat jäikin näin aikas lyhyenlänniksi MM-edustuksen takia.

Elmander meni siis muualle, mutta eiköhän PLG:llä löyvvy jonkinlainen plan-b takataskusta. Vähän ihmettelin muutenkin Elmanderin perään kuolaamista, eikös sekin oo vähän tuollainen Krissy Boyd -henkinen pitkänhuiskea sälli. No, oishan toki varmasti ollut ihan hyvä varamies Skotlannin kuumimmalle hyökkääjälle.

Clementinn nimmarit saatiin siis viimein paperiin. Vaikka nimi ai ahaa-elämyksiä herätäkään, niin mies ei voi olla ihan läpeensä paska, kun Le Guen häntä niin määrätietoisesti metsästi. Heppuhan on kaiken lisäksi vasta 21-vuotias. Ranskalaisen arvellaan irronneen n. hintaan £1M.

Rangers FC can confirm today that Fernando Ricksen will not train with the squad in South Africa due to inappropriate behaviour on the flight to Johannesburg.

Manager Paul Le Guen said: "The behaviour of Fernando Ricksen was wholly inappropriate and unacceptable for the way in which I have asked my players to conduct themselves.

"Therefore Fernando will not carry out pre-season training with the squad in South Africa."

Le Guen suspends Ricksen over flight behaviour

FERNANDO Ricksen's Rangers career could be over after the Dutchman was effectively suspended from the club's South African tour by new manager Paul Le Guen.

Ricksen has been accused by the French manager of inappropriate behaviour on the Rangers team flight to Johannesburg, which left from Edinburgh on Saturday morning. While it remains unclear as to what exactly Ricksen did on the flight, Le Guen was unimpressed and has banned Ricksen from training with his team-mates during the Glasgow side's ten day trip.

The former Lyon manager said last night: "The behaviour of Fernando Ricksen was wholly inappropriate and unacceptable for the way in which I have asked my players to conduct themselves. Therefore Fernando will not carry out pre-season training with the squad."

Ricksen played a bit-part role at Ibrox last season under Alex McLeish, having previously established himself as one of Rangers' key performers.

Amid a string of high-profile on and off-field disciplinary incidents, Ricksen has seldom been far from the headlines during his six years at Ibrox. The 27-year-old was signed by his countryman Dick Advocaat from AZ Aalkmar, and has become a fans' favourite at Ibrox.

Le Guen revealed last Wednesday that he had held discussions with Ricksen with a view to restoring him to the Rangers first team on a regular basis. However, the weekend's events seem to have fallen well short of what Le Guen, renowned as a strict disciplinarian, expects, and it remains to be seen whether or not Ricksen plays for Rangers again.
