Kolmonen, Nelonen, Vitonen, Kutonen, Seiska 2010 - The complete picture?

Hi Friends

Some of you will be aware that I am providing a complete list of sections and teams for 2010 on English Wikipedia.  This obviously takes time to develop but at the moment I have completed sections overseen by SPL Uusimaa, SPL Helsinki (with 2 in Seiska to complete) and SPL Turku.  I have also completed SPL Tampere Nelonen and all of the Kolmonen.

Over the next few weeks I will add the rest (it does take time as for many teams in the lower divisions there is only an abbreviated name to go on).  KuRa of Section 4 of Helsingin Kutonen has beaten me!

Obviously there will be a few mistakes and I would be grateful to receive any feedback to correct them.

I will leave a message on this thread when I have completed further sections so it may be worth you re-visiting now and again.

Just a quick comment on this:

The withdrawal of FC Muurola (from Rovaniemi) means that there will not be a single side from Lapland in the Kolmonen 2010.

This is not correct. Cities of Tornio and Kemi are located in Lapland, so ToTa and PS Kemi/2 are representing Lapland in this section of Kolmonen.

My apologies linko.   I have changed to read as follows:

I was last in Lapland almost 3 years ago and I should have remembered my geography.

Sarjavaliokunta (no idea what that would be in English) will have a meeting today and they should make decisions on if the groups you posted will form Vitonen or if they'll combine Vitonen & Kutonen etc. So we should know for sure soon.

My Finnish is very poor but I guess that the equivalent term for "Sarjavaliokunta" in English would be Leagues Committee.

Seems to me like it's the last seasons set of participants. Other teams are correct but Spartak was promoted to Kolmonen and MetroStars (or FC OPA MetroStars) was relagated to Vitonen and it was previously announced that MetroStars won't be participating in any football series in upcoming season. These two are replaced by OuJK (relegated from Kolmonen) and FC RAI (promoted from Viitonen). HauPa 2 also won the promotion but they decided to stay in Vitonen instead..

For Lapland Nelonen the confirmed teams are: FC Muurola, ArPS, PaPa, Kolarin Kontio, SoPa, FC-88 and KemPa. It was rumoured that there will be some additional teams coming to Laplands section so that there might be 10 or 11 teams in total, but at least at the moment there's none added to splps.fi's list of confirmed teams for season 2010.

Kutonen is merged to Viitonen. Last season there was only seven teams in Viitonen and six in Kuutonen, so merging these two makes sense. Confirmed teams for season 2010 Viitonen are: MuhU, PaTe 2, FC Suola, FC International, OTP, Herkku-Papat, KiiRi, IVFC, HauPa 2, Paavolan Kisa and FC RAI 2.

In 2009 IVFC, FC Suola, KiiRi and Pate/2 played in Kutonen, not vitonen. Pate/2 was the team that officially got promoted to vitonen.

I think FC Suola is from Oulunsalo. Correct me if i'm wrong.

FC Lepakot is not a new team, played vitonen in 2009
