1910: Strange. Very strange. Armenian keeper Roman Berezovski deals well with a deep cross by Stephen Kelly, despite Simon Cox jumping into him, and clearly feels he has been fouled. There is no whistle by the referee but Berezovski wants treatment and drops the ball at the feet of Cox, who promptly taps in to the unguarded net. Only then does Spanish official Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez get involved, but I'm pretty sure that should be a goal. Massively unsporting, yes, but still a goal as far as the rules go.

Armenia red card: Poor old Roman Berezovski. He comes charging out of his box to block Simon Cox's shot and the referee decides he used his arms/hands. TV replays suggest otherwise - it hit his chest - and Cox also handled the ball as he controlled it. A disastrous decision for Armenia, but a great one for the Republic of Ireland.
