Uskon edelleen pojassa olevaan potentiaaliin Onhan se vaikea sopeutua jos ei edes kentälle pääse Rossin voisi pistää lainalle joukkueeseen, jossa saa varmasti peliaikaa, Manchesterissa sitä tuskin kauheasti tulisi. £12M Crouchista  Siinä on mielestäni puolet liikaa ja silti jää lädi/maajoukkuelisää. Jo pitempään toteutuneena pidetty Taarabtin siirto julkaistaneen oikein virallisesti ensi viikon alkupuolella, sama Alnwickin saapumisen ja Fulopin lähdön kohdalla. Muuten lienee luvassa kohtuullisen hiljainen ikkuna Spurssin kohdalla, ehkä Barnes mikäli hinnasta päästään sopuun ja näiden parin jo julkistunen skandinaavin seuraksi jotain tavaraa akatemiaan. Budget - Funds likely to be limited and Arsene Wenger has stated he will not be bringing anyone in but he has made similar claims before and gone on to splash the cash.
Targets - Still short of cover at the back and may be tempted by Gareth Bale if the Southampton teenager becomes available. Leighton Baines from Wigan may provide an alternative..
On Way Out? - Unlikely we will see any significant departures although youngster Anthony Stokes may make a loan switch form Falkirk to Charlton.

Aston Villa
Budget - Martin O'Neill Should have a chunk of cash to play with thanks to Randy Lerner's investment in the club.
Targets - Matthew Upson would add strength and experience to the Villa defence and is valued at around £7million. Strikers are also on O'Neill's shopping list with Spurs pair Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe targets although a £3million move for Southend's Freddie Eastwood would appear more realistic.
On Way Out? - Lee Hendrie's loan deal at Stoke is at an end but it is likely it will be renewed. Eric Djemba-Djemba has been linked with Lille and is surplus to requirements at Villa Park while Milan Baros is also thought to have potential suitors in France.

Blackburn
Budget - May have to sell to bring in anyone of significance.
Targets - A replacement for Lucas Neill should the Australian move on in January with PSV's Michael Ball and Liverpool's Stephen Warnock possible options. Mark Hughes may also move to bring David Dunn back to Ewood Park if the price is right. Dynamo Kiev's Andrei Nesmachny has been training with Rovers and the Ukrainians value the international defender at £750,000.
On Way Out? - Neill has long been linked with a move to Liverpool.

Bolton
Budget - As usual, Sam Allardyce may have to wheel and deal to bring in fresh faces.
Targets - The Bolton boss has gone on the record to say he would love to bring David Beckham to the Reebok Stadium. Having secured stars of the calibre of Youri Djorkaeff and Fernando Hierro in the past, do not back against Allardyce landing his man.
On Way Out? - Ivan Campo is linked with a return to Spain and Athletic Bilbao while Israeli international Tal Ben Haim is attracting interest from Chelsea with his contract due to expire in the summer.

Charlton Athletic
Budget - Alan Pardew expects to receive limited funds in his bid to fight the drop.
Targets - China captain Zheng Zhi is already joining on a six-month loan from Shandong with a view to a permanent move. Southend's Freddie Eastwood and former Chelsea midfielder Alexei Smertin are also possible options.
On Way Out? - Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has made little impact since his switch from Middlesbrough and would be tempted with a move while a big money bid for Darren Bent may be too hard to refuse.

Chelsea
Budget - Although Roman Abramovich has said he wants to limit his big spending, it is still likely he'll fund the signings of any player Jose Mourinho needs to keep pace with Manchester United.
Targets - Micah Richards is valued at £18million by Manchester City and would provide cover across Chelsea's leaky back-four. Bolton's Tal Ben Haim would cost considerably less and is out of contract at the Reebok in June while a short-term move for Sol Campbell may also plug the gaping hole left by John Terry's back injury. With Petr Cech still out injured, Mourinho may also be tempted to move for a goalkeeper with Hearts' Scottish international Craig Gordon an option.
On Way Out? - In spite of all the speculation surrounding Andrei Shevchenko, it's unlikely we'll see the £30million man make a return to Italy.

Everton
Budget - Funds available although David Moyes does not expect to do much business in January.
Targets - Brazilian Anderson de Silva has already joined on an initial six-month contract while moves for Nigel Reo-Coker and Preston's David Nugent may be in the offing.
On Way Out? - James Beattie has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park after finding himself down the pecking order. Simon Davies is also a target for Fulham.

Fulham
Budget - Chris Coleman will have to drive hard bargains to bring in the new signings he craves.
Targets - Everton midfielder Simon Davies is being linked with a return to London but a bid for Birmingham's Matthew Upson may be out of Coleman's price range. Roma striker Vincenzo Montella may be a more realistic option while Odd Grenland defender Per Nilsson is rated around the £1million mark.
On Way Out? - Coleman will want to keep his small squad together as they bid to keep clear of the drop zone.

Liverpool
Budget - Cash will be avalaible to Rafa Benitez should he require it.
Targets - A move for long-term target Lucas Neill would seem likely while West Ham's out-of-sorts Argentine Javier Mascherano would provide some steel in central midfield with Mo Sissoko a long-term absentee. Reports in France have also linked Lille midfielder Mathieu Bodmer with a move to Anfield. In spite of problems in front of goal, it seems unlikely Benitez will shake up his forward line in mid-season.
On Way Out? - Stephen Warnock may be a makeweight in any deal involving Lucas Neill.

Manchester City
Budget - The sale of Micah Richards would finance any new arrivals at Eastlands.
Targets - A return to City for Shaun Wright-Phillips may be opened up if Richards heads to Stamford Bridge.
On Way Out? - As well as Richards, Joey Barton is linked with a move to either Newcastle or West Ham. City may also find it difficult to refuse overtures for Sylvain Distin with the Frenchman's contract due to expire in the summer. Former England defender Danny Mills is set to return to Hull City on loan.

Manchester United
Budget - Glazers prepared to make money available, possibly up to £25m.
Targets - Long identified a Roy Keane-style midfielder, with Owen Hargreaves the long-time target. Nigel Reo-Coker has also been mentioned. Henrik Larsson's signing, and Giuseppe Rossi's return from Newcastle, lessens the need for a new striker.
On Way Out? - Wes Brown out of contract at the end of the season and unable to command a regular starting spot. Mikael Silvestre is also no longer a regular starter, while Gabriel Heinze has been linked with Paris Saint Germain and Valencia.

Middlesbrough
Budget - Likely to be some money available, but could have to sell to make room for signings.
Targets - Gareth Southgate is ready to look at players in the Championship. West Brom's Zoltan Gera and Preston striker David Nugent have been linked. Arsenal's Jeremie Aliadiere has also been strongly mooted as a new signing.
On Way Out? - Sporting Lisbon want to re-sign Fabio Rochemback, but Boro won't consider a loan deal. Massimo Maccarone and Gaizka Mendieta are also tipped to move on.

Newcastle United
Budget - Glenn Roeder spent £15m in the summer, so may not have a lot left in the kitty.
Targets - Injuries mean Roeder could do with strengthening most areas of the squad. Birmingham centre-half Matt Upson has been linked, along with Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton.
On Way Out? - Roeder can ill-afford to lose any members of his squad, although Albert Luque could head back to Spain, while Emre Belozoglu has been linked to Bayern Munich.

Portsmouth
Budget - Depends on owner Alexandre Gaydamak, but maybe around £5m.
Targets - Harry Redknapp is keen to sign a striker, but is wary of paying £5m for David Nugent or Norwich's Robert Earnshaw. Also trying to negotiate a satisfactory fee for on-loan midfielder Manuel Fernandes.
On Way Out? - Kanu keeps asking for a return to Ajax, while Sol Campbell is reportedly on Chelsea's list of potential defensive recruits.

Reading
Budget - Likely to be money available, if Coppell wants to add to his squad.
Targets - Uncertain whether Coppell is looking at January recruits, although £3m-rated Rennes defender John Mensah continues to be linked. Former Manchester United striker David Bellion has also been mooted as a target. Hibs pair Scott Brown and Kevin Thomson also linked.
On Way Out? - Steve Sidwell is out of contract at the end of the season, but Reading are prepared to lose the midfielder for nothing, rather than cash in this month.

Sheffield United
Budget - Shareholders have given Neil Warnock £5m to spend on new players.
Targets - Warnock has vowed to sign English, or English-based, players, rather than bring in foreign imports. Nugent, Matthew Kilgallon, David Healy and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have been linked, along with Hibs duo Brown and Thomson.
On Way Out? - Ade Akinbiyi has already been sold to Burnley, while Steve Kabba, Paul Ifill, Alan Wright, Geoff Horsfield, Neil Shipperley, David Unsworth and Chris Lucketti can leave permanently.

Tottenham Hotspur
Budget - Martin Jol spent heavily on Didier Zokora, Dimitar Berbatov and Pascal Chimbonda in the summer, but may have some of the Michael Carrick cash still available.
Targets - Lens youngster Adel Taarabt claims to have agreed a deal to join Spurs. May also look for more young English talent, such as Watford winger Ashley Young.
On Way Out? - Edgar Davids has not been a regular and has been linked with a return to Ajax. Despite Jol saying he wants to keep Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane, rumours persist that one could go.

Watford
Budget - Likely to have a couple of million, but Aidy Boothroyd will not waste the club's money.
Targets - Boothroyd does want a striker, with Marlon King out for the season, and reports claim Scunthorpe's Billy Sharp will join.
On Way Out? - Watford have already rejected bids for Young, and Boothroyd is keen to keep hold of his best young players.

West Ham United
Budget - New manager Alan Curbishley could have anything up to £20m to spend to keep the club in the Premiership.
Targets - Talks have taken place with Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips. Joey Barton has also been linked, but Curbishley is still assessing his options to determine what areas need strengthening.
On Way Out? - Nigel Reo-Coker, Yossi Benayoun, Hayden Mullins and Teddy Sheringham have been linked with moves away.

Wigan Athletic
Budget - Paul Jewell could have a few million to spend as he looks to keep the club in the top flight.
Targets - Deal have already been agreed for Scandinavian duo Andreas Granqvist and Kristofer Haested. Jewell does want a striker and is keen on former Wigan player Nathan Ellington, and may also move for a midfielder after Paul Scharner's injury. Man Utd youngster Lee Martin has been linked with a loan move.
On Way Out? - Arsenal supposedly want Leighton Baines, but Jewell would be reluctant to sell the left-back. Svetoslav Todorov has gone back to Portsmouth after his loan.

Dempseyllä siirto voi tehdä tiukkaa juuri työluvan vuoksi, koska vaadittua 75% maaotteluista ei ole pelattuna. Käsittääkseni lopullinen läpimurto maajoukkueeseen on vasta tehtynä, mutta luulisi MM-kisoissa saadun peliajan ja vuoden pelaaja-valinnan vaikuttavan ilmeisesti välimieskäsittelyyn joutuvan jutun ratkeamisessa Fulhamin eduksi.

Onyewu olisi mielenkiintoinen tuttavuus Valioliigassa. Massiivinen (muistaakseni himpun vajaa kaksimetrinen) toppari on vahva ja riittävän liikkuva, suhteellisen hyvin peliä lukeva pelaaja. Potentiaalia kehittyä kovan luokan toppariksi.
